Template Designer – Contract (Remote, EU/UK time zones)
We’re hiring a Graphic Designer to create high-quality, ready-to-use marketing templates for our customers – primarily in the real estate industry.

At Xara, we help businesses scale their marketing with powerful design tools combined with automation. Our platform enables customers to automate the production of marketing campaigns, social posts, and print materials.

About the role
This is a contract position (20–40 hours/week) to start, with potential to extend based on performance.

• Fully remote (EU/UK time zone overlap required)
• Work closely with our Head of Template Design
• Learn and design for high-performance companies

What you’ll do
Design and refine marketing templates optimized for automation

• Create templates that are easy for non-designers to customize
• Collaborate with product and support teams to continuously improve quality

Key responsibilities
Follow internal template standards to ensure automation compatibility

• Balance visual quality + usability for end customers
• Iterate on designs based on feedback and real customer use cases

Typical tasks

• Improve and polish customer-submitted templates
• Build templates from scratch using brand assets (logos, colors, typography)
• Create new templates for our growing library

What we’re looking for
1–2+ years of experience in template / graphic design
Proficiency with tools like Adobe Creative Suite (or similar)

• Strong fundamentals in layout, typography, and composition
• Ability to design marketing assets that drive results, not just look good
