Our branding glossary is special, it contains essential branding concepts, but we also added some terms to help you distinguish between different types of brand assets and between various types of asset management systems.

Multi-tenant

Multi-tenant is used to refer to a single software instance that serves multiple customers, or tenants. With the advance in technology, however, the use of the term expanded. Nowadays, it also refers to a shared cloud infrastructure.

So, instead of accessing data from a server that is located on the premises of the company, employees access cloud-centralized data.
