All copies of Web Designer Premium and Designer Pro (v11 & Later) include a free domain name for 12 months, in addition to the free Xara Online hosting offer.

You should have received a coupon code and link in your purchase confirmation email for Web Designer Premium or Designer Pro that enables you to register for the 'Website M' package free for one year.

Here's what you need to do next in order to claim your free domain:

1) Sign in to your Xara Online 'Website M' account at the Xara Online home page

2) Go to the Control Center, select Domain and then Register Domain.

3) Search for an available domain name among the allowed TLDs (Top Level Domains), simply enter your desired domain name and click 'Check Now' and when you find the one you want, click 'Select Domain'.

4) This takes you straight to the shopping cart. Because you have an M Website account, which includes a domain free for one year, the price should show as 0.
If the website is already uploaded via FTP you can assign the domain to the website folder (in most cases the root or the chosen sub-folder). We offer this guidance on assigning domains.

What happens after 12 months?

If you wish to use the domain for another year you will need to subscribe, the current cost for a renewal is $11.88 per year.

NOTE: renewal is not automatic, but you will be sent reminder mails in plenty of time, at which point you can chose whether to subscribe or not.
