System Administrator / DevOps Engineer

Xara are looking for a System Administrator / DevOps engineer to help manage the company’s internal network services and Xara Cloud, which is Xara’s online document editing solution.


The role is based in our Hemel Hempstead office.

Reporting to Xara’s Network Manager, the role includes varied duties across the network of our office in Hemel Hempstead, UK, where the role is based, and for our office in Berlin. The role also includes support of multiple remote technical staff who are located around Europe. Xara Cloud systems management brings exposure to Amazon Web Services, with which the service is hosted, and the many modern technology solutions that the service utilises, including NoSQL databases, docker container systems, JavaScript with NodeJS, CI/CD, Linux and Windows Server operating systems. Therefore the role comes with ample opportunities for growth across a range of technologies.
