Shopping Carts

In Xara Xtreme 5 and Xara Web Designer you can use widgets to add e-commerce to your website and we're going to show you how to do this using the most popular choice, Paypal. You can let your customers buy one item at a time by simply adding a Buy Now button on your website, or you can allow multiple items with an Add To Cart button. Alternatively you can create a complete online store on your site with the PayPal Storefront. The credit cards are processed by Paypal, you just have to deliver the goods!

PayPal Storefront

Below we give a step by step guide to creating and inserting a Paypal Storefront.
1
Browse to the PayPal Widgets homepage.
2
Click the Login button and enter your Paypal account details (or click the Sign Up link to create your own PayPal Account if you don't already have one).
3
Click on 'Create new storefront'.
4
Next, there are 6 areas to configure in order to create your storefront. Each section (see below) on the left of the screen can be expanded in order to apply your required settings. Don't forget to set the required currency from the drop list.
5
Once you have configured the storefront, click on Step 2 and publish your storefront. Select the 'Just give me the HTML so I can do it myself' radio button and click on the Publish Storefront button.
